Day 2

Start the day with an early game drive to witness the animals at their most active. This is a great time to spot predators such as lions, cheetahs, or leopards on the hunt, as well as large herds of grazing animals. After breakfast at the camp, continue with a final Serengeti game drive before heading toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

As you leave the Serengeti behind, enjoy scenic views and optional cultural stops, such as a visit to a Maasai village. Arrive at your lodge on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, where you can relax and enjoy the spectacular views of the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera.

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the Eighth Wonder of the World, for a wildlife-packed game drive. The crater is home to an incredible concentration of animals, including the Big Five lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard as well as hippos, flamingos, hyenas, and many more.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the crater before making your way out and beginning the return drive to Arusha. The safari ends with drop-off at your hotel or airport, filled with unforgettable memories of the African wilderness.
