Day 1

Your adventure begins early pick up from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi as you drive to Londorossi Gate (2,250 m), located on Kilimanjaro’s remote western side. After registration, begin hiking through pristine rainforest, where black-and-white colobus monkeys leap through the canopy. The trail gradually ascends for 3–4 hours, opening up to panoramic views of the Shira Ridge. Stop for a picnic lunch surrounded by nature, before descending through the forest back to the gate. Return to your hotel in Arusha/Moshi by evening, filled with unforgettable mountain memories.
