1-Day Trip to Explore Arusha National Park

Start your day with morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha and head to Arusha National Park, located at the base of Mount Meru. Though compact, the park offers diverse landscapes, including montane forest, open savannah, Ngurdoto Crater, and the Momella Lakes.

The park is home to an impressive range of flora and fauna, and was famously featured in the Hollywood film Hatari, starring Hardy Krüger and the legendary John Wayne.

Enjoy a morning game drive with chances to see giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, baboons, and the rare black-and-white colobus monkey. At Momella Gate, an armed ranger will guide you on a walking safari to Tululusia Waterfalls, offering close-up wildlife encounters.

After a picnic lunch, continue with an afternoon drive around the lakes, known for flamingos and rich birdlife. Return to Arusha by early evening.
