Nairobi Hotel/Airport - Lake Nakuru National Park

Your adventure with Marula Horizon Safaris begins early morning with a pickup from your Nairobi hotel or airport. Drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley, stopping briefly at a viewpoint for panoramic photos.

You will arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park around 10:00 a.m. and embark on a full-day game drive. Explore the park’s rich landscapes — from woodlands to open plains and lakeshores — as you search for rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, lions, and a variety of bird species, including flamingos and pelicans.

Enjoy a packed picnic lunch inside the park to maximize your game-viewing time. Continue your afternoon game drive until 5:30 p.m., when you’ll check in at your lodge.

Relax and unwind at Eldorado Rustic Hotel & Gardens, a cozy retreat surrounded by nature near Lake Nakuru.

Nakuru - Lake Naivasha - Crescent Island - Nairobi Hotel/Airport

After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, arriving mid-morning. Enjoy a boat ride across the lake to view hippos, fish eagles, and other birdlife.

Proceed to Crescent Island, where you’ll take a guided walking safari among giraffes, zebras, impalas, wildebeests, and gazelles — one of Kenya’s few places where you can safely walk alongside wild animals.

Afterward, enjoy an optional lunch at Elsamere Lodge, the former home of Joy and George Adamson, famous for “Born Free”. Dine by the lake as you watch playful monkeys and listen to the sounds of nature.

Later, depart for Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon. Drop-off will be at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, marking the end of your memorable safari with Marula Horizon Safaris.
