Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your Hadza Guides Africa driver-guide. After a short briefing, your adventure begins with a transfer to Arusha National Park, just a 45-minute drive away.

Although compact, Arusha National Park is incredibly diverse. You'll embark on a game drive through forests and grasslands, home to giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and the elusive colobus monkeys. Keep your eyes peeled for bushbucks and flamingos along the shores of Momella Lakes. To add a unique twist to the day, enjoy a guided walking safari led by an armed ranger an opportunity to connect more intimately with the landscape and observe wildlife on foot. In the late afternoon, you'll transfer to your lodge in the Arusha area for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart early for Tarangire National Park, a 2.5-hour scenic drive southwest. Known for its vast elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, Tarangire is a gem of the northern circuit. Today’s game drive takes you across varied terrain, from riverine woodlands to open plains. Look out for lions, leopards, cheetahs, and large herds of zebras and wildebeest. The Tarangire River is a magnet for wildlife during the dry season, making it a hotspot for predator-prey action. Break for a picnic lunch in the heart of the park, surrounded by nature.
