Depart From Zanzibar to Arusha Airport then Drive to Tarangire National Park for Game Drive

Arusha to Tarangire National Park: 2 Hours

Program of the Day: Your day begins at 6:00 am with a transfer to Zanzibar Airport for an 8:00 am air travel to Arusha, arriving at 9:15 am. From there, your guide will drive you 1.5 hours to Tarangire National Park, sharing stories about Arusha and the Maasai culture along the way.

Enjoy a full-day game drive through Tarangire, famous for its vast elephant herds, diverse landscapes, and predators like lions and leopards. A packed lunch will be served inside the park. The game drive ends around 4:00 pm, after which you’ll head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Transfer from Karatu to Ngorongoro ( Home of Black Rhinos and Flamingos) for Marvelous Game Drive

Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater: 30 Minutes

Program of the Day: After breakfast at 6:00 am, you will drive to Ngorongoro for an early game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater. The early drive offers the best views of the crater and the most active wildlife.

This park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world, and is one of the Natural Wonders of Africa. It is home to about 30,000 large mammals, including buffalo, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, as well as many bird species, such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. You can expect to see many animals in a short time.

The game drive will end in the afternoon, allowing for a convenient transfer back to Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight to another destination.
