Today you head to the world-famous Serengeti National Park, the crown jewel of African safaris. The drive takes you through the misty Ngorongoro Highlands before descending into the endless plains where the word Serengeti meaning “endless” in Maasai truly comes to life. Along the way, enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by sweeping views of wildlife-studded savannah. The Serengeti is alive with movement herds of wildebeest and zebras roam freely while lions, leopards, and cheetahs stalk the grasslands in search of prey. Later, begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders.
