After an early breakfast, you’ll set out for one last morning game drive in Mikumi National Park, making the most of your time in this wildlife haven. The soft morning light offers perfect conditions to spot animals as they start their day — lions returning from a night hunt, elephants gathering near the waterholes, and herds of zebras and wildebeests grazing across the open plains. It’s the perfect farewell to Mikumi’s “Little Serengeti” landscapes.
After the game drive, you’ll return to the lodge for check-out and begin your scenic journey toward the Udzungwa Mountains National Park, a drive of about four hours.
