Day 1
Transfer to Kibale National Park

At 8am after breakfast drive to Kibale National park
Arrive at 1 or 2pm at the lodge. Have lunch.
You have an option of visiting bigodi wetland
Rich in biodiversity and scenic beauty, A 4,5km long walk will take you through this important wildlife corridor of Kibale Forest and will take up to 3hrs.
The “Home of the Great Blue Turaco” is a real bird watcher’s paradise. This wonderful place shelters over 200 species of birds including Hornbills, Turacos, Parrots, Crane and Furthermore, the sanctuary is the home of 8 species of primates, including the Black and White Colobus, Red Colobus, Red Tailed Monkey, Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Olive Baboon, L’hoest Monkey, Vervet Monkey and the Blue Monkey.
The swamp is also a haven for other mammals such as sitatungas, bushbucks and otters.

Day 2
Chimpanzee Tracking

After breakfast, at around 7:00, the guide will pick you up and you will transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing. This briefing is on the rules to be followed during tracking. Once you start the tracking and get to the chimpanzees, you will spend an hour with them. Later transfer to the lodge for lunch, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3
Transfer to Bwindi national park
Transfer to Bwindi national park
Today morning after breakfast at 9:00am, you will set off and start the journey to Bwindi National park, you will drive through Queen Elizabeth national park, and might spot several animals on your way.

Relax the rest of the afternoon

Day 4

Early morning breakfast, at 7am you will transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing. Tracking starts at 8am. Time taken depends on the movement of the gorillas. You spend one hour with the gorillas. Lunch will either be packed lunch or hot lunch at the lodge depending on the time you finish.
In the afternoon enjoy Batwa cultural entertainment.
The Experience takes place outside of the park in an old-growth forest on land that is next to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park. The Batwa experience begins with a nature-walk, hike through the forest seeing the forest in a new way, through the eyes of the original people of the Forest. Learn how they hunted the small animals they used for food, what things they gathered, how traps and nets were used.

Departure
After breakfast, you will drive to Kampala. Lunch Enroute and a stop over at the equator. Alternatively you can cross the border and depart from Kigali in Rwanda. Drop off at the hotel or airport.
