JRO Airport and Game Drive in Tarangire National Park

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and depart around 10:00 AM for the scenic drive to Tarangire National Park (approximately 2.5–3 hours). Along the way, enjoy views of the Tanzanian countryside while learning about the culture and traditions of the Maasai and the Arusha region. Arriving in Tarangire around 12:30 PM, begin your first game drive through this beautiful park, famous for its giant baobab trees, large elephant herds, and diverse wildlife sustained by the Tarangire River. Keep an eye out for lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and elusive leopards resting in the trees. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon safari until around 4:00 PM, then drive to your lodge for dinner, relaxation, and overnight stay.

Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater

After a delicious breakfast, you’ll drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a memorable game drive.

This UNESCO World Heritage Site is recognized for its outstanding natural and cultural significance. As you descend into the crater, you’ll have excellent chances to spot the Big Five: prides of lions, herds of buffalo, elephants, leopards, and rare black rhinos. The crater lakes attract colourful flamingos, and the incredible natural environment inside the crater is breathtaking. Within moments, you’ll find yourself surrounded by diverse wildlife.

After your game drive, you’ll return to the lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

After your morning game drive, enjoy your picnic lunch before departing the park and beginning your journey back to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Arriving at the airport around 3:00–3:30 PM, your driver-guide will assist you with your onward departure, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzanian safari filled with incredible wildlife encounters and lasting memories.
