Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

Your adventure begins as you leave Arusha behind and make your way towards Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania's most distinctive wildlife destinations.

Known for its enormous baobab trees and impressive elephant population, Tarangire has a character all of its own. Spend the day on a game drive through its open plains, woodland and seasonal wetlands, watching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and predators.

As the afternoon fades, leave the park and continue towards the Ngorongoro Highlands, where you will spend the night surrounded by the cool, beautiful atmosphere of Karatu.

Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's most extraordinary wildlife destinations.

Descend into the crater for an extended game drive across its remarkable floor, where grasslands, forests and wetlands support an exceptional concentration of wildlife. Look out for lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas and, with luck, the endangered black rhino.

After your crater adventure, begin the journey back to Arusha. Return to Arusha Farmhouse in the evening and enjoy a well-earned night of rest.

Lake Duluti Slow Down Before You Go

Enjoy a relaxed morning before heading to Lake Duluti, a peaceful freshwater lake surrounded by lush vegetation near Arusha.

Enjoy a gentle canoe experience, nature walk, a professional birding guide, birds watching, take time to appreciate the tranquil surroundings. It is a beautiful way to finish the safari after two days of wildlife and adventure.

Later, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
