Day 1

Transfer to Nyungwe National Park
After an early breakfast, at 9:00 am, you'll check out of the hotel and head to the Western province. Or on arrival, you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to Nyungwe National Park. On your way, you will visit the Royal Palace Museum and the Ethnographic Museum in the Southern province. This will give you a great history of traditional ways of living among Rwandans and their past way of leadership of their kingship. You'lll enjoy an en-route lunch. You will reach Nyungwe National Park in the afternoon relax at the lodge. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 2
Chimpanzee Tracking - Canopy Walk
Chimpanzee Tracking - Canopy Walk
Today, after your early-morning breakfast, you will drive to Nyungwe Forest, which is well known for having 13 species of primates. Transfer to the park for a briefing and the chimpanzee trekking. On finding the chimpanzees, you will be allowed to spend 1 hour with them.
After the chimpanzee trek, you'll have lunch, and then go for a canopy walk.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 3
Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to Volcanoes National Park. You'll have a brief stop at Lake Kivu. Optional is a boat ride on the lake, visit Nyamirundi to enjoy the coffee and other places of interest. You will have lunch. Later, you will proceed to the park. You'll have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

After breakfast, prepare for a briefing from park officials and then enter the jungle to search for the mountain's endangered gorillas. You will spend one hour with them. Requirements like tracking shoes, hut, insect repellent, sunscreen, rain gears and bottled water are a must, and other tools that one may need once. You'll return to the lodge for lunch. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

After breakfast, you can decide to go for optional activities like Golden monkey tracking, Diane Fossey hiking, Ellen DeGeneres Campus, Buhanga Eco park, among others. Drop off will be at the airport or hotel.
