Transfer to Nyungwe National park

After an early breakfast, at 9:00am check out of the hotel and head to the Western province. Or on arrival, you will be picked from the airport and transfer to Nyungwe national park. On your way, visit the Royal Palace Museum and Ethnographic Museum in the Southern province. This will give you a great history of traditional ways of living among Rwandans and their past way of the leadership of their kingship. Enjoy an en-route lunch. You will reach Nyungwe National Park in the afternoon relax at the lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Chimpanzee Tracking - Canopy Walk

Today, after your early-morning Breakfast, you will drive to Nyungwe Forest which is well known for having 13 species of primates. Transfer to the park for a briefing and the chimpanzee trekking. On finding the chimpanzees, you will be allowed to spend 1 hour with them.
After the chimpanzee trek, have lunch later go for a canopy walk.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, drive to Volcanoes national Park. A brief stop at Lake Kivu. Optional is a boat ride on the lake, visit Nyamirundi to enjoy the coffee and other places of interest. You will have Lunch. Later proceed to the park. Dinner and Overnight.

Gorilla tracking - Ibywachu Cultural Entertainment

After our breakfast prepare for briefing from park officials and after enter into the jungle to search for the mountain endangered gorillas. You will spend one hour with them. Requirements like tracking shoes, hut, insect repellent, sun screen, rain gears and bottled water are must and other tools that one may need once. Return to the lodge for lunch. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
