This small but beautiful Tanzanian National Park is the closest national park to both the famous Arusha “safari town” (40 km) as well as the Kilimanjaro International Airport, thus making it ideal for 1-day safaris or tours. Not only is the animal life in the park abundant, but it is also one of the most beautiful and topographically varied parks in Tanzania. The park’s three most significant features include the rugged Mount Meru (Tanzania’s second highest peak at 4566m), the notably different colored Momela Lakes, and the 3km wide Ngurdoto Crater, which was formed about fifteen million years ago!

Tarangire is a park of giant baobab trees, rolling savannah and acacia Parkland. It is famous for its dense wildlife population, which is most spectacular in the dry season between June and September. It is during this period that thousands of animals- wildebeest, zebra, Eland, hartebeest, buffalo, and onyx migrate from the dry Maasai steppe to the Tarangire River in search of water. The predators -lion, leopard and others- as is the custom in the savanna follow closely by. Birds are also abundant here and over 550 species have been recorded.

We will return in the Central part of the park to enjoy Game and bit relaxing at the Heritage camp in Central Serengeti, enjoy the endless views of the endless savannah plains of Seronera.. It’s the perfect place to relax after a day’s activities in the bush.

The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera in the world covering approximately 260 sq. km's with walls rising 600 meters from the crater floor. Before the Ngorongoro Volcano exploded and collapsed 2 million years ago the area was home of some of the tallest mountain it is home to more than 30,000 large mammals - mainly gazelle, buffalo, eland, hartebeest and warthog - and has the highest predator density in the world.

In addition to this peaceful setting, Lake Manyara’s main attractions are its rich bird life, tree rare climbing lions and its hippos which you can see at a closer range than any other places(If you’re lucky to See any).
