Ngorongoro Conservation Area & crater

Picked at your Lodge early morning approx 6am at Arusha and drive to Ngorongoro Crater about 3hrs drive passing at Karatu Area, You will stop at Crater view point. Crater won’t fail to take your breath away as you stand on the rim looking down a 10-mile wide crater floor with abundant wildlife. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera in the world covering approximately 260 sq. km's with walls rising 600 meters from the crater floor. Before the Ngorongoro Volcano exploded and collapsed 2 million years ago the area was home of some of the tallest mountain it is home to more than 30,000 large mammals - mainly Gazelles, Buffalo's, Elands, Zebras, Heartbeats and Warthogs - and has the highest predators density in the world. After lunch you will proceed with game drive before ascending from the crater and drive to your your Lodge, You will Have Option to stop by Maasai Bomas to learn about their Cultures and enjoying their Traditional Houses/Bomas.

Lake Eyasi Cultural experience - Hadzabe and Datoga TribeS

On this Day you will leave your Hotel at Karatu and Drive to Lake Eyasi which is the home of last hunter and gatherer Society of East Africa, It will take 2hrs of Drive to reach the this Tribes. The Hadzabe are hunter-gatherers while the Datoga are pastoralists. Visits to the villages give you a personal, intimate look into the daily life of these peoples. You may be impromptu invited into their homes, learn about the family structures, participate in traditional dances, participate in bead making with the women, join the traditional small game hunting and gathering by the Hadzabe tribesmen, make bow and arrows and much more.
