Day 1
Transfer to Nyungwe National Park
Transfer to Nyungwe National Park
After an early breakfast, check out of the hotel and head to the Western province Nyungwe national park. On your way, visit the Royal Palace Museum and Ethnographic Museum in the Southern province. This will give you a great history of traditional ways of living among Rwandans and their past way of the leadership of their kingship. Enjoy an en-route lunch. You will reach Nyungwe National Park in the afternoon relax at the lodge.

Day 2
Chimpanzee Tracking and Canopy Walk
Chimpanzee Tracking and Canopy Walk
Today, after your early-morning Breakfast, you will drive to Nyungwe Forest which is well known for having 13 species of primates. Transfer to the park for a briefing and the chimpanzee trekking. On finding the chimpanzees, you will be allowed to spend 1 hour with them.
After the chimpanzee trek, have lunch before heading for a colobus monkeys tracking. Or enjoy the Canopy walk. You will Spend an hour with the Colobus once you get to them. Dinner and overnight as above.

Day 3
Transfer to Lake Kivu
Transfer to Lake Kivu
After breakfast, you will drive to lake Kivu. This takes about 3hours.
You will have lunch, later go for a boat ride. You will spend time at the lake. You can either Visit Nyamirundi Island and enjoy the activities at the lake or relax at the lodge. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4
Golden monkey tracking

After breakfast at 7am you will drive to the Park head quarters for a briefing on the Golden monkey trekking rules before going out to track them in the forest. The trek takes 1– 4 hours and you have one hour to stay with the Golden monkeys once found. You will have lunch. Relax the rest of the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 5
Gorilla Tracking

You will have an early breakfast and transfer to the National Park headquarters for a briefing at 7:00am on the rules to be observed during Gorilla trekking. You will be allocated a Gorilla family to trek and guides to lead you to the Gorillas. The trekking will be a 2-5 hour exercise and upon sighting the Gorillas you will spend one hour with them. Return for lunch, relax the rest of the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 6
Transfer to Kigali - Akagera National Park
Transfer to Kigali - Akagera National Park
Our guide will pick you from the lodge after breakfast and you transfer to Kigali. You can decide to go for the city tour. Visit the genocide memorial site, kaplaki market, presidential palace among others. Or do activities in Volcanoes like Dian Fossey hiking, Buhanga eco park for bird watching, Ellen Degeneres Campus, visit the twin lakes among others. Have lunch and transfer to Akagera national Park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 7
Game drive and boat ride
Game drive and boat ride
Very early in the morning, after breakfast, proceed for game drive and see the early risers and look out for wild life and other animal species like the Elephants, Buffaloes, Giraffe, warthogs, water bucks, bush bucks, oribi, hear beets among others respectively. In the afternoon prepare for a boat ride on Lake Ihema and here you will spot aquatic wildlife like hippos, crocodiles and much more birds and animals along the shores of the lake. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight.

Transfer to Kigali
