Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
We will pick you up at 7:30am and drive you to our office. From here, you will depart on a scenic drive of about 5 hours towards the Great Rift Valley and finally reach Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya's premier game reserve. We will have a brief stop en route at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy stunning views of the world's largest valley (said to be visible from space) before arriving at Masai Mara for lunch. The afternoon game drive at 4:00pm allows for the spotting of magnificent wildlife in the park ranging from the big cats such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs to other large mammals like rhinos, elephants, and wildebeest.

Finally, we will return to Jambo Mara Safari Lodge at 6:30pm for dinner and an overnight stay.

This day will be dedicated to game viewing in Kenya's premier wildlife reserve, the Masai Mara National Reserve. You will enjoy a full-day game drive in search of Africa's Big Five and other wildlife in this expansive reserve.

As you explore the Masai Mara, you can expect to see a variety of animals, including Maasai giraffes, baboons, warthogs, bat-eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyenas, topis, impalas, hartebeests, wildebeests, elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos. It is also common to spot lions basking in the sun after a meal or surveying the plains for their next target. After lunch, you will continue with another afternoon game drive and return to the lodge around 5:30pm for dinner and your overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi
We will leave our safari lodge at 10:00am and can visit a Maasai village before returning to vibrant Nairobi. We expect to arrive around 4:30pm, concluding our unforgettable 3-day Jambo Mara Safari.
