Your safari adventure begins as you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). You will be met and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha.
This is your first introduction to Tanzanian hospitality. Arusha Planet Lodge is a comfortable and modern lodge located on the outskirts of Arusha, offering a peaceful respite before your journey. Day 2
Arusha National Park & Drive to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, set out for a morning game drive in Arusha National Park, an underrated gem situated right at the foot of Mount Meru. Though smaller in scale than Tanzania's massive northern reserves, this park boasts an extraordinary diversity of landscapes.
Your drive takes you through shadowy montane forests—where you can spot rare, tree-dwelling black-and-white colobus monkeys and blue monkeys, giraffes, zebras, Cape buffaloes, and warthogs.
In the early afternoon, leave the lush highlands behind and begin the scenic drive toward Tarangire National Park, famous for its immense elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. As you wind down through local villages and vibrant rural landscapes, you will arrive on the shores of Lake Burunge just outside the park boundaries.

After an early breakfast, leave Tarangire behind and set off on an exhilarating journey toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park. As you travel through the picturesque landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoy a scenic drive past rolling crater highlands and traditional Maasai bomas. Entering the vast, endless plains of the Serengeti, the scenery transforms into an expansive horizon teeming with wildlife. Enjoy an exciting game drive en route to your lodge, keeping a close lookout for pride of lions lounging on majestic granite kopjes, elusive leopards resting in acacia trees, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebras roaming across the savanna. A final morning game drive in the Serengeti before driving towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey itself is scenic, often passing by the Olduvai Gorge, a significant archaeological site.
Perched dramatically on the rim of the crater, this lodge offers a completely different experience. It is a large, stone-built lodge designed to blend into the cliff face.
