Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive south through the scenic landscapes of the Athi Plains to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch. After check-in and a short rest, head out for an afternoon game drive, where you’ll encounter Amboseli’s famous elephants and possibly lions, cheetahs, zebras, and wildebeests—all set against the dramatic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Full Day Game drive in Amboseli National Park

Enjoy a full day of exploration within Amboseli. Begin with an early morning game drive to capture stunning views of Kilimanjaro at sunrise, followed by sightings of wildlife as they become active in the cool morning hours.

After lunch, relax at your lodge or embark on another game drive later in the afternoon. Amboseli’s open plains, swamps, and acacia woodlands provide excellent opportunities for photography and birdwatching. You may also opt to visit a local Maasai village to learn about their traditions and way of life (optional, at an extra cost).
