You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or airport by our driver. Immediately, you'll depart for Samburu passing through the equator line to Samburu land. You'll arrive with a short game drive en route to the lodge/camp for lunch. After lunch, you'll relax before a game drive at 4 pm. Samburu National Reserve has unique residents including the Reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, and the blue-legged Somali ostrich.

Day 2
Explore Samburu National Reserve
Explore Samburu National Reserve
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives through the dramatic red plains of Samburu, framed by the majestic Mt. Ol Olokwe. Keep an eye out for the long-necked gerenuk browsing on thorny shrubs. In the afternoon, visit a Samburu Manyatta (village) to experience the rich cultural traditions of this proud semi-nomadic community.
You'll enjoy morning game drives in search of unique northern Kenya species such as the reticulated giraffe, beisa oryx, Grevy’s zebra, and the long-necked gerenuk. Much of the reserve consists of desert landscape; dusty red plains broken by thorny scrub, featuring dramatic views of table top Mt Ol Olokwe on the horizon.
Later in the afternoon, you'll experience the Samburu Culture by visiting their Manyattas.

After breakfast, travel south to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a private wildlife sanctuary on the foothills of Mount Kenya. Home to the Big Five, Ol Pejeta also protects endangered species such as the black rhino, Rothschild’s giraffe, and hosts the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya. Visit the wildlife orphanage and enjoy close encounters with rescued animals while taking in sweeping savannah views.

Depart after breakfast for Lake Nakuru National Park, nestled on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. The park is a birdwatcher’s paradise, known for its flamingos, pelicans, and over 400 bird species. Enjoy an afternoon game drive to see white and black rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, and possibly leopards resting in the acacia trees.

After breakfast, journey across the Great Rift Valley into the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, a land of rolling grasslands and incredible wildlife diversity. Arrive for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of the Big Five and other plains animals such as zebras, antelopes, and elephants. The Mara’s sweeping savannahs promise unforgettable wildlife encounters.

Day 6
Maasai Mara National Reserve
Maasai Mara National Reserve
Set out early for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch along the Mara River, where crocodiles and hippos thrive. From July to October, witness the Great Wildebeest Migration, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Spot lions, cheetahs, leopards, and elephants, and later visit a Maasai village to learn about their culture and traditions.
