Your safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, driving southeast along the scenic Nairobi–Mombasa highway toward Tsavo East National Park. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge and take some time to relax before your first afternoon game drive. As the sun begins to set, you will explore Tsavo East’s vast plains, home to large herds of elephants, lions, zebras, and giraffes. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay under the stars of the African sky.

Day 2

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive when the park is most alive with activity. Watch predators on the hunt and herbivores grazing in the golden light. After breakfast, depart Tsavo East and drive through the scenic route to Tsavo West National Park. The drive takes you across diverse landscapes, from red-soil plains to volcanic hills. On arrival, check in to your lodge and enjoy lunch before heading out to explore Mzima Springs, a beautiful oasis of clear water inhabited by hippos and crocodiles. Later in the day, take a game drive through the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, where you might spot the elusive black rhino. Return for dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Spend the day exploring the dramatic terrain of Tsavo West. Begin with a morning game drive to catch sight of elephants, buffaloes, and a variety of birdlife. Visit the Shetani Lava Flow, a vast expanse of solidified black lava that tells of the region’s volcanic history. Enjoy lunch and leisure time at your lodge before heading out again in the late afternoon for another drive or simply relax as the sun sets over the Chyulu Hills. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

After breakfast, depart Tsavo West and journey toward Amboseli National Park, arriving around midday. Check in to your camp, have lunch, and rest briefly before setting out for an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is renowned for its large herds of elephants and its breathtaking backdrop, the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive, the best time to capture the iconic sight of Mount Kilimanjaro bathed in morning light. After breakfast, return to your camp to relax and enjoy the facilities, perhaps lounging by the pool or soaking in the panoramic views. Later in the afternoon, head out for another game drive, visiting Amboseli swamp areas where hippos and water birds thrive. As the sun sets over the savannah, return to your camp for dinner and a restful night.
