On the first day of your safari, you will be picked up in Nairobi by your driver-guide and driven south to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, a journey of approximately six hours. The sanctuary lies on the southern boundary of Kenya, on the periphery of Tsavo West National Park, one of Kenya’s iconic protected wildlife areas. It is also within view of Mt Kilimanjaro, Africa’s majestic and highest snow-capped mountain.

You will arrive at the lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive that begins at 3:30pm. Afterwards, you will return to the camp for dinner and a night of rest.

On the second day, you will have breakfast before setting out on a full-day game drive, with the option to return to the lodge or resort for lunch or to enjoy packed lunch boxes. The sanctuary hosts more than 50 mammal species, including elephants, zebras, Cape buffalos, giraffes, lions, leopards, cheetahs and various antelope species. It is also home to more than 390 bird species, including resident, intra-African and Palearctic migrant birds.

Return to the lodge or resort for dinner and an overnight stay.
