Your Kruger Journey Begins

Your adventure begins as you arrive at the designated pickup location, where you will be warmly welcomed by your Avella Travels guides. We'll take this opportunity to stretch our legs, enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the local restaurants, and get acquainted with our guide and the open safari vehicle.

After lunch, we’ll head towards Kruger National Park, complete gate formalities, and begin a scenic afternoon safari on our way to the camp. This introductory drive will immerse you in Kruger’s stunning landscapes and wildlife, setting the tone for your safari experience. As the sun sets, we’ll arrive at the camp, where you’ll be able to unwind with a lovely dinner around the fire and prepare for the adventures ahead.

From Sunrise to Sunset

Your day begins before sunrise, as we prepare for an unforgettable morning game drive. Savor a hot cup of coffee or tea as we wait for the gates of Kruger National Park to open, and witness the breathtaking sunrise over the savannah. The morning game drive, lasting about 3 to 4 hours, will let you explore the southern region of Kruger, renowned for its rich wildlife.

After the drive, we’ll return to camp for a delicious breakfast and some relaxation. Later, we’ll enjoy a leisurely lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive, guided by the day’s latest wildlife sightings. We’ll return at sunset and unwind with a delightful dinner around the campfire under the stars, sharing stories of the day’s adventure.

Time to Explore a New Area

We begin the morning with another 3 to 4-hour game drive. Afterwards, we make our way back to camp to enjoy breakfast and prepare our belongings before setting off for the next camp. Along the journey, the drive itself becomes part of the safari experience. During this time, you’ll enjoy the changing landscapes of Kruger and may even spot wildlife that appears when you least expect it.

Upon arriving at the new camp in the late afternoon, we help you settle in before preparing a relaxed dinner. As night falls, the camp comes alive with the subtle sounds of the bush, and you can enjoy a quiet moment under the stars, knowing that tomorrow will bring another exciting day of safari discovery.

The Adventure Continues

Our day begins with another exciting early morning drive, venturing into the heart of Satara’s open grasslands. Along the drive, we’ll stop and savor a picnic breakfast at one of the park’s lookout points, soaking in the breathtaking views and the tranquil beauty of the area. Satara is renowned for its predator activity, and as we explore, we’ll keep an eye out for lion prides and possibly cheetahs moving through the vast landscape.

After our morning exploration, we’ll return to camp for some relaxation and free time, allowing you to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. Later in the afternoon, we’ll set out on another drive, exploring different paths and visiting waterholes, perhaps catching a glimpse of elusive wildlife in quieter parts of the park.

As the day comes to a close, we’ll return to camp for our final dinner under the stars, reflecting on the day’s adventures and the wonders of Satara.

One Last Safari

The last morning begins with a final game drive, allowing you to take in the sights and sounds of the bush one last time. Afterwards, we return to camp for breakfast, pack up, and complete check-out. Finally, we transfer to our arranged drop-off point, bringing your Kruger National Park safari to a close with memories that will last a lifetime.
