Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will finalize your immigration and be met by your waiting guide/driver. You will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay and relaxation in preparation for the start of your epic wildlife encounter safari the following week.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, you will depart for Murchison Falls National Park. Uganda’s largest and most dramatic park. En route along the Masindi road, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track the reintroduced white rhinos and enjoy lunch before continuing your journey. Murchison Falls, where the Nile River bursts through a narrow gorge to create a thunderous roar, ranks among Africa’s most spectacular sights. Upon entry in the park, expect to see lots of wildlife, including baboons, elephants, black and white colobus monkeys, and so much more. Proceed to the top of the falls where the Nile squeezes through a 7m gorge and falls 45m before gently flowing to the Lake Albert Delta, making a thunderous roar. Here, you will hike to have a view of the Murchison Falls and the Uhuru Falls, which were formed in 1962. After this breathtaking experience, proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight relaxation.

Today is dedicated to exploring the wonders of Murchison Falls National Park, home to some of Africa’s best wildlife encounters. After an early breakfast, head out for a morning game drive across the rolling plains of the Nile Delta, where you may spot elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and various antelope species grazing in the golden light. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before setting out on an afternoon boat cruise along the Nile River. This scenic journey offers close-up views of hippos, crocodiles, and an array of water birds as you approach the base of the magnificent Murchison Falls, where the Nile thunders through a narrow gorge. Today is dedicated to the unforgettable gorilla tracking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Arrive at the park office by 7:45 a.m. for a pre-briefing, and begin the trek at 8:30 a.m. Trek through the lush rainforest in search of a gorilla family, and upon locating them, spend up to one hour observing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. A good level of physical fitness is recommended, as the trek can be challenging but immensely rewarding.

After the trek, you will be transferred to Lake Mutanda, a serene lakeside retreat, where you can relax and unwind while enjoying the stunning views of the surrounding mountains and tranquil waters.
