After breakfast, leave Ol Pejeta Conservancy and drive north through the beautiful Kenyan countryside toward the rugged landscapes of Samburu National Reserve. The scenery changes dramatically as you descend into the semi-arid northern region, known for its striking red earth, rocky hills, and winding Ewaso Nyiro River. Arrive at Ashnil Samburu Camp in time for lunch and a brief rest. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in Samburu, a reserve celebrated for its unique northern species "the Samburu Special Five" Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk. You may also spot elephants, lions, leopards, and graceful antelopes along the riverbanks. Stop en route for lunch before continuing to the city, arriving in the late afternoon. You’ll be dropped off at your Nairobi hotel or the airport for your onward journey.
