Zanzibar to Arusha (Tarangire National Park)

Transfer by plane from Zanzibar Airport to Arusha Airport where you will meet our guide waiting for you at the Airport then Transfer by road From Arusha to Tarangire National Park Almost 1to 2 hours

Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, often seen in the Tarangire River. The park is home to giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and occasional cheetahs or leopards. With over 500 bird species, it’s a birdwatcher’s paradise, look for yellow-collared lovebirds and lilac-breasted rollers. Scenic game drives pass through baobab-studded landscapes and vast savannahs.

1:00 PM - 5:30 PM: Continue exploring Tarangire and spot more wildlife as you venture deeper into the park.

5:30 PM: Start the drive to your hotel in Karatu Omega Hotel Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife for a half-day safari tour. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Crater supports a wide variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. You will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds can usually be seen here. After lunch, you will start ascending from the crater.
