Day 1
Arrival at Entebbe Airport and Transfer to Kampala (approx 1hrs drive)

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, the company rep will be waiting to receive you. Thereafter, we transfer you to Kampala.
You will have a pre-safari briefing on this day to answer all your queries and get all clarifications about the safari.
Dependent on your time of arrival, you will enjoy an afternoon tour of Kampala with a visit to the 4Africa Offices, one of the local community initiatives that helps improve the lives of women and children through Craft. There are plenty of beautiful souvenirs you can purchase from purses, necklaces, animated stuffed Knit dolls & so much more
Arrivals on Wed, Fri & Sunday, the evenings will be spent at Ndere Cultural Centre, taking you around Ugandan Culture through Music & Dance. African Buffet dinner will be served before proceeding to Humura Resort.

Day 2
Transfer from Kampala to Bidodi Wetland Sanctuary (Approx 5hrs drive)

Early morning breakfast, after which you check out and transfer to Kibale National Park. You'll arrive in time for lunch at Turaco Treetops.
Later afternoon transfer for the 3hr nature walk in the Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary. The “Home of the Great Blue Turaco” is a real bird watcher’s paradise. This wonderful place shelters over 200 species of birds, including Hornbills, Turacos, Parrots, Cranes, Kingfishers, and many more swamp endemics.
Furthermore, the sanctuary is the home of 8 species of primates, including the Black and White Colobus, Red Colobus, Red Tailed Monkey, Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Olive Baboon, L’hoest Monkey, Vervet Monkey, and the Blue Monkey.
You'll return to the lodge in the evening to settle in for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3
Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale National Park

After breakfast, it’s an early start to the Kibale Forest National Park headquarters, arriving by 8 am to track the habituated Chimps. These engaging apes, our closest living relative, are great fun to watch as they play and fight in the fruit trees. The experienced guides will introduce you to the different members of the chimp families, as well as the birds and plant life of the forest. The trails through the forest are generally easy to navigate. You are always in the company of park rangers who will explain the fascinating traditional uses of the forest plant species — the forest elephant, smaller and hairier than its savannah counterpart, moves seasonally into areas of Kibale Forest.
You'll return to the lodge in time for lunch.
You'll have an afternoon tour of the crater lakes within the area.

Day 4

After breakfast, you'll gather all your belongings and check out from Turaco Treetops & head south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Ruhija).
There will be a stop en route for lunch.
You'll be arriving late afternoon to check in, have dinner, relax, and stay overnight at Bweza Gorilla Lodge.

Day 5

After an early morning breakfast, you will depart the lodge with a packed lunch and water. You will be transferred to the trailhead in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, where you will join other guests for a briefing before setting off. As the gorillas constantly move in search of food & where to comfortably nest, the trek duration will vary; however, the anticipation & the beauty of the forest make it all worthwhile.
After the gorillas have been located, you will spend an amazing hour in their company.
If you stay longer in the forest, you will make use of the packed meal.
We recommend loose-fitting, comfortable, natural colored clothing, good hiking shoes, insect repellent, a wide hat, plus rain coat. Any medical conditions must be reported in advance so the necessary assistance can be provided.
Once done with the trek, you will return to the lodge for a hot lunch before your final transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Birdnest Resort.

Day 6
Lake Bunyonyi to Lake Mburo National Park (Approx 4hrs drive)

You'll enjoy an early morning canoe ride on Lake Bunyonyi lasting approximately 3 hours & have your full breakfast before departing for Lake Mburo. The transfer will last approximately 4 hours of great scenary there will be stops en route for lunch & refueling.
Depending on the time you arrive at Lake Mburo, you will have an afternoon game drive. Otherwise, once you check in at Rwakobo Rock and have an early dinner, you get ready for the night game drive.
Lake Mburo is one of the few parks where you can go on a night game drive! At night, there is a whole variety of animals that you would not see in the day, including bush pigs, genet cat, and white-tailed mongoose, to mention but a few. Night drives also give you the best chance of finding leopards, spotted hyena, and there is one male lion in the park who resides down by Lake Mburo itself. It is an interesting experience out at night with a spotlight, an unusual twist on your regular game drives.

Day 7

In the company of a trained park ranger, you'll take an early morning nature walk to the Rwonyo Salt Lick Area.
This Salt lick is situated around a shallow water hole & wildlife in this Park find this Saltlick a favorite place to hang around as they enjoy the salt taste. Among the wildlife species that often visit this place are the impalas, waterbucks, bushbucks, Uganda Kob, Elands, Topis, along with zebras, hippos, warthogs, the Rothschild’s giraffes, and many more.
Activity lasts approximately 3 hours.
You'll return to Rwakobo Rock for a full breakfast, checking out, and returning to Entebbe for your onward departure flight.
There will also be a stop at the Equator imaginary crossing site on your return journey.
Lunch on this day will be in Entebbe Town at either Café Javas, Protea Hotel, or Lake Victoria Entebbe Hotel.
