After an early breakfast, embark on an exciting morning game drive to spot wildlife, including the gigantic eland antelope, large zebra herds, topi, impala, and buffalo. Alternatively, opt for a guided bush walk with an armed ranger (additional cost: USD 30 per person).
Following your morning activity, check out and journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to over 300 mountain gorillas—nearly half the world's population—including several habituated groups available for trekking.

After breakfast, proceed to the rangers' post for a briefing on gorilla trekking protocols. Then enter the spectacular Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, where dramatic, steeply forested landscapes and dense vegetation are crisscrossed by animal trails leading you deeper into this pristine wilderness.
The trek duration and terrain vary depending on the gorillas' location. Once you locate your assigned group, you'll spend an unforgettable hour observing these gentle, endangered giants in their natural habitat—a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Following your trek, transfer to the enchanting Lake Bunyonyi, nestled among lush, terraced hills rising between 2,200 and 2,478 meters. The lake's 29 islands of varying shapes and sizes create a magical landscape perfect for relaxation and contemplation.
