Day 1-3

Arrival & Sunset Safari

You'll make your own way to Elephant Plains Game Lodge in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, arriving by early afternoon. Airport transfers can be arranged as an optional extra upon request. Upon arrival, you'll be warmly welcomed by the lodge team and shown to your comfortable, well-appointed room overlooking the African bush. After settling in and enjoying refreshing welcome drinks, you'll attend a brief safari orientation where your ranger explains safety protocols and what to expect during game drives. As the afternoon heat subsides, you'll embark on your first thrilling sunset game drive through the reserve. Your expert ranger and tracker guide you in search of the Big Five and other wildlife, sharing fascinating insights about animal behavior and the ecosystem. Watch the sky transform into brilliant colors as the sun sets over the savannah. You'll return to the lodge for a delicious dinner under the stars, sharing stories of your first safari adventure.

Day 4

Last Morning in the Wild

You'll rise before dawn for your final early morning game drive, making the most of every moment in the African bush. This is often the best time to spot predators returning from their night hunts or catch elephants at the waterhole in soft morning light. Your ranger ensures a memorable last safari as you search for any species you haven't yet encountered. You'll return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and time to pack your belongings. You'll complete checkout formalities and bid farewell to the lodge team and fellow guests. You will depart Elephant Plains and make your own way to your next destination. Airport transfers are available as an optional extra for an additional cost.
