After breakfast, depart for the lush Shimba Hills, a haven for rare wildlife such as the sable antelope and a vibrant array of bird species. Enjoy a guided game drive through the enchanting rainforest and open grasslands, where you may encounter elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and playful baboons. Embark on a scenic walk to the magnificent Sheldrick Falls before enjoying a sumptuous lunch at Shimba Lodge. In the afternoon, continue with a game drive back to the lodge for a relaxing evening.

Shimba Hills National Reserve offers a captivating blend of coastal rainforest, rolling grasslands, and exceptional wildlife viewing, complemented by a guided hike to Sheldrick Falls. Typically starting with an early hotel pick-up, your adventure begins with a 4×4 safari through the reserve, where you may encounter elephants, the rare sable antelope, giraffes, buffalo, and a rich variety of birdlife. This is followed by a guided ~2 km trek to Sheldrick Falls, with the option to swim in its refreshing pools. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at a lodge overlooking the waterholes, and, time permitting, embark on a second game drive before returning to your hotel in the late afternoon.

Breakfast and have last game drive, through misty forested hills, grasslands, and dramatic escarpments with views toward the Indian Ocean. Shimba Hills is famous for its large population of rare sable antelopes, elephants (though sometimes elusive), giraffes, buffalo, and many smaller mammals. Birdlife is prolific, with hornbills, sunbirds, and raptors. Before noon, drive back to Diani Beach for relaxations.
