After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the crater for a full-day game drive amid breathtaking volcanic scenery. Look for the Big Five — lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos — as well as hippos, flamingos, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor and soak in the views before ascending to the crater rim and transferring to Eileens Tree Lodge for dinner and overnight.
