Today features a full-day game drive exploring Selous’ diverse habitats open plains, woodlands, and river systems. Upon entering the park, you will embark on an exciting game drive through the Mkata Floodplain and surrounding woodlands, keeping an eye out for elephants grazing in the open savannah, giraffes browsing on acacia trees, lions resting under shady trees, zebras and wildebeest in large herds, and hippos near waterholes. Bird enthusiasts can also enjoy numerous species along the way. After the game drive, you will check in at Mikumi Tanapa Cottages, where you can relax and enjoy dinner while being immersed in the sights and sounds of the African bush.
