1-Day Tour from Dar-Es-Salaam to Mikumi NP by Sgr Train

• You'll be collected from the airport.

You’ll be picked up from your your hotel in Dar es Salaam at 4:30 AM and taken to the SGR station for your 6:00 AM train. Enjoy the scenic ride through Tanzania’s countryside to Morogoro, arriving around 7:40 AM. There, our driver will meet you and transfer you to Mikumi National Park.

At the gate, your safari guide will be ready with an open 4x4 jeep for your adventure. Experience an exciting game drive across Mikumi’s wide plains, where you may spot elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, zebras, and more. Around midday, you’ll pause for lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon exploration of its wildlife-rich areas.

Around 4:00 PM, you’ll leave the park and head back to the Morogoro SGR station for your 7:25 PM train. Once you arrive in Dar es Salaam, our driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
