Your adventure begins as your guide welcomes you at Maun International Airport. The journey into the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans opens before you an endless, white, shimmering desert unlike anywhere else on earth.

This evening, you sleep directly under the diamond-studded Kalahari sky. No tent roof, no walls just a mattress, warm bedding, and the silence of one of the world’s most ancient landscapes.

At sunrise, watch a family of meerkats emerge from their burrows, climbing onto you if you sit still enough. Later, join a Bushman walk led by indigenous San trackers who share their rich cultural heritage and ancient survival wisdom.
