Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Your adventure begins in the morning when we pick you up from your Nairobi hotel and set off south toward the world-famous Masai Mara. The journey takes you down the dramatic floor of the Great Rift Valley, with a short stop to take in the sweeping views and stretch your legs.

We arrive in the Masai Mara in time for lunch at your camp. After settling in, you’ll head out for an exciting afternoon game drive. This is your first chance to encounter some of Africa’s most iconic wildlife—lions lounging in the grass, towering giraffes, elephants roaming in family groups, herds of zebra, and a host of other species. As the sun sets over the savannah, we return to the tented camp for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Explore the Vast open Savannah lands

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring Kenya’s most celebrated wildlife haven. Enjoy a full day of game viewing, with excellent chances of spotting the legendary Big Five—lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, and elephant—along with countless other species that call this vast ecosystem home.

We will stop for a picnic lunch at the hippo pool, where you can enjoy your meal while watching hippos and other animals at the water’s edge. In the afternoon, you may choose to visit a local Maasai village for a cultural experience (optional). After a rewarding day in the wild, we return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Sunrise Game Drive & Transfer to Nairobi

After an early breakfast, you have the option to visit a Maasai village before departing the Masai Mara or you will have a guided game drive as you enroute back. We then journey back toward Nairobi, carrying picnic lunches to enjoy en route. Expect to arrive in the city around 4:00 p.m., where you will be dropped off at your hotel or at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport bringing your safari adventure to a close.
