1-Day Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

• You'll be collected from the airport.

Your day begins early with a 6:00 AM pickup from your Arusha hotel, where your safari guide will welcome you and begin the scenic drive toward the legendary Ngorongoro Crater. After a 3 hour journey, you’ll descend into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera for a game drive.

Home to over 30,000 animals, the crater’s acacia forests, hippo ponds, open grasslands, and shimmering lakes offer some of East Africa’s best wildlife viewing. Look out for elephants, lions, buffalo, flamingos, cheetahs, hyenas, and the rare black rhino.

Midday, you’ll enjoy a special picnic lunch, beautifully set in nature. A table will be arranged for you at the Ngoitoktok Picnic Site overlooking the hippo pool an unforgettable moment to relax, dine, and soak in the crater’s magic.

After 5 to 6 hours of incredible exploration, you’ll begin the drive back to Arusha, arriving around 7:00 PM, with memories of one of Africa’s most breathtaking wonders.
