After an early breakfast, check out of your lodge/camp and collect your packed lunch—sandwiches, fruit, and a refreshing drink for the long journey. The drive takes you through open Maasai country, passing traditional Manyatta homesteads and herds of cattle guided by young Maasai wrapped in bright shukas.

By around 4:00 p.m., you arrive in Nanyuki, the lively gateway to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. After check-in, head out for an evening game drive, a perfect introduction to Ol Pejeta as the golden sunset lights up the plains. Return to the lodge/camp for a delicious dinner, surrounded by the calming sounds of the wild. Later, drift into sleep to the night chorus of crickets and distant hyenas, fully immersed in Laikipia’s tranquil wilderness.
