Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater

On the final day of your safari, you depart early from Karatu and drive toward the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. Descending the crater walls, you enter one of the world’s most spectacular wildlife sanctuaries, often called the “Garden of Eden” of Africa. A full morning game drive on the crater floor offers close encounters with lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, and, with luck, the rare black rhino, all set against stunning landscapes and crater lakes. Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch within the crater before ascending back to the highlands. Your guide then drives you to Arusha or the airport, where the tour concludes, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s iconic wildlife and landscapes.
