Your safari begins with a warm reception from our team at your Nairobi hotel or at the airport, followed by a short orientation about your journey. Soon after, you will meet your safari driver-guide, who will help you get comfortable in your 4x4 Land Cruiser before leaving the city. As you travel toward Amboseli, you will pass through scenic rural areas and open landscapes that offer a glimpse of local life.
Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge and enjoy a leisurely lunch before spending the early afternoon relaxing at the property. Whether you choose to enjoy the lounge, rest in your room, or take a swim, you’ll feel immersed in the natural environment—especially when wildlife appears near the lodge’s water sources. Later in the day, you’ll head out for your first game drive, with chances to see Amboseli’s famed elephant families and many other animals before returning to the lodge for dinner.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will depart Amboseli and begin your drive toward central Kenya. This break offers spectacular photo opportunities as you gaze across the expansive valley floor. Continuing onward, you will reach Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch and check-in. In the afternoon, set out to explore the park, which is known for its rhino sanctuary, large groups of waterbirds, and unique Rothschild’s giraffes that roam freely within the acacia woodlands. As you circle the lake and traverse the open plains, you may also encounter zebras, buffalos, and other wildlife that thrive in this rich ecosystem. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and a restful night.

Day 3

After enjoying breakfast, you’ll leave Lake Nakuru and begin your journey to the renowned Masai Mara. The route passes through farmland, lush rolling hills, and the lively Maasai town of Narok before opening into endless sweeping grasslands. Upon arrival, you’ll check in at your camp and have lunch, then relax briefly before setting out on an afternoon game drive. The Masai Mara offers outstanding wildlife encounters, from impressive predators to large herds grazing across the plains. As the day fades, the warm evening light creates a striking scene over the savannah. You will then return to your camp for dinner and a restful night.

You will begin the day with an early breakfast before departing on a full-day exploration of the Masai Mara. With a picnic lunch packed, you’ll have the freedom to travel deeper into the reserve, discovering a variety of wildlife habitats and viewing opportunities. Depending on the time of year, you might witness herds of wildebeest and zebras moving across the plains during their migration, or observe predators like lions and cheetahs as they search for prey. Even outside migration season, the diversity and abundance of wildlife make the Mara a spectacular place to explore. After a day spent in the wild, you will return to your camp to enjoy dinner and relax under the African night sky.

Day 5
Masai Mara - Nairobi

After breakfast, you will check out and start your drive back to Nairobi, traveling once more through the beautiful Great Rift Valley with its impressive viewpoints as you climb the escarpment. When you reach Nairobi, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, depending on your onward plans. Before departing the Masai Mara, you may choose to visit a Maasai village to experience their traditions and way of life. In Nairobi, optional activities such as a tour of the Bomas of Kenya, a city tour, or dinner at The Carnivore Restaurant can also be arranged.
