Upon arrival, you’ll be assisted to board the SGR fast train to Morogoro, offering a smooth and time-saving trip inland. Your safari guide will meet you in Morogoro and transfer you by road to Mikumi National Park—saving over 3 hours of travel time compared to driving from Dar. Arrive at your lodge for check-in, dinner, and relaxation.

Enjoy a full day exploring Mikumi National Park after an early breakfast. Your game drive takes you across the park’s open plains—home to elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and abundant birdlife. Visit the Mkata Floodplain, one of the best wildlife-viewing areas in Tanzania. A hot lunch will be served inside the park restaurant to maximize your time in the bush. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and relaxation.
