Today morning, At your place of residence, You will be greeted by our friendly driver-guide who will take you to and from the gorilla trek. After meeting and greeting, you kick start a drive to Bwindi through Chanika border reaching your lodge in in the evening. Bwindi National Park is home to over half of world's largest population of mountain gorillas.

Gorilla trekking and transfer back to kigali

Your gorilla trekking experience will begin in the morning with a hearty breakfast. You will drive to the park headquarters with a packed lunch where you will meet the park ranger guide at 7 am for registration. He will take you through a briefing about the dos and don'ts while tracking and will then lead you to the forest to trek the endangered mountain gorillas.
The mountain gorilla trekking lasts from 1 to 8 hours, depending on where the gorilla family is spotted because they keep moving to look for food. It will be exciting, as you will be enjoying the calls of the birds and seeing other primates as you search for the endangered mountain gorillas. After a successful trek, kick start a journey to kigali.
