Day 3

Leave the Masai Mara after breakfast at 7:30 a.m. for a five-hour drive northwest toward Lake Naivasha, with a brief stopover in Narok for refreshments. Arrive at the hotel in Lake Naivasha for check-in and lunch. Enjoy an afternoon boat ride and Crescent Island walk from 2.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m., then return to the resort to enjoy the sunset views over the pristine highland lake and dinner.

Day 4

Depart Lake Naivasha at 6.30am after an early breakfast, driving south through the lush Rift Valley farmlands and past the escarpment towns. The journey offers sweeping views of volcanic hills and acacia‑dotted plains as you head toward Nairobi’s outskirts, then continue along the Mombasa Road.
Pause at Emali town for refreshments before turning onto the road toward Amboseli. As you approach, Kilimanjaro’s snow‑capped peak rises dramatically above the savannah, welcoming you to the park. Arrive at your lodge by mid‑afternoon, check in, and proceed for lunch.
From 4.00pm, set out for an introductory game drive across Amboseli’s open plains. Expect sightings of large elephant herds, giraffes, buffalo, and predators against the backdrop of Africa’s tallest mountain.

After an early breakfast at the camp, guests depart as the first light spreads across the savannah. The cool morning air makes for an ideal start, with wildlife already stirring; elephants moving toward waterholes, antelopes grazing, and predators returning from the night’s hunt. The drive out offers sweeping views of acacia‑dotted plains and, if in Amboseli, the majestic silhouette of Kilimanjaro glowing in the sunrise.
This early departure ensures maximum time for exploration, smooth travel before midday heat, and a seamless transition into a full‑day game drive.
At midday, the safari pauses for a memorable picnic lunch at Observation Hill, one of Amboseli’s most iconic viewpoints.
