You'll arrive at the park headquarters in early afternoon, in time for a leisurely afternoon, and will hike to see endemic mammals that are frequently seen in the area, menillik's bushbuck, mountain nyala, birds also, like black-headed siskin, rought's Rail, wattled Ibis, the spot-breasted lapwing, the Abyssinian long claw, and numerous others.

Day 2

Exploring Bale Mountain National Park, Drive to the Afro Alpine Zone, Visit the Rock Formation
You'll spend the day exploring Bale National Park. You'll visit stunning rock formations, drive through the Harnna Forest, and explore the Afro-alpine zone or the Sanetti Plateau. You'll search for endemic species like the Ethiopian wolf and birds such as the blue-winged goose, chestnut-naped francolins, and alpine chat.

Day 3
Bale, Hawassa and Arba Minch
Bale, Hawassa and Arba Minch
You will drive from Bale to Arba Minch, passing through Shashamane and Hawasa. You'll stop for lunch in Hawasa and spot pelicans and hippos. You'll continue to Arba Minch for an overnight stay.
You'll enjoy the sunset view from the lodge garden, see some birds, and the city activity from the hotel area.

Day 4

You will visit Dorze Village in the Guge Mountains, known for its beehive-shaped huts, weaving, and traditional food. In the afternoon, you will drive to Konso, a UNESCO Cultural Landscape. You will explore the terraced hills and Waka wooden totems. In the evening, you will explore Konso town and learn about local traditions.

Day 5
Konso, Key Afer Market and Jinka
Konso, Key Afer Market and Jinka
You will head to the Key Afer Market (if Thursday) to experience an authentic tribal market where Ari, Hamer, and Bena people trade. You will continue to Jinka, the gateway to Mago National Park. You will visit the South Omo Research Center Museum to learn about the local tribes.

Day 6
Jinka, Mursi Village and Turmi, Round Trip
Jinka, Mursi Village and Turmi, Round Trip
You will drive into Mago National Park to visit the Mursi tribe, famous for women’s lip plates and body painting. You will return to Jinka and drive to Turmi, home of the Hamer people. If lucky, you'll attend a Hamer bull-jumping ceremony or Evangadi dance (depending on timing).

Turmi - Omoraye and drive back to Arba Minch

In the morning, you'll cross the Omo River to visit the Dassanech tribe near Omorate, bordering Kenya.
In the afternoon, you'll drive back to Turmi via Konso with scenic views along the route. Relax at your lodge in Arba Minch, enjoy the sunset from the lodge, and be ready for the next day's tour.

After a morning breakfast, you'll drive back to Addis Ababa through Hawassa, the best mid-way stop city, have lunch in the lakeside hotels with hippo viewing, bird watching area, walk around the garden of the hotel, and enjoy the peaceful lake with plenty of aquatic birds. You will continue your driving to Addis Ababa and stay overnight in the hotel.

You will visit the National Museum of Ethiopia to see the famous fossil “Lucy” (Dinkinesh) and other archaeological treasures. You'll explore the Holy Trinity Cathedral, one of the most important Ethiopian Orthodox churches. Admire beautiful stained-glass windows and the tombs of Emperor Haile Selassie and Empress Menen Asfaw. You'll drive up to Entoto Mountain for panoramic city views. Visit the Entoto Maryam Church and Emperor Menelik II’s historical palace. You will explore Merkato Market, Africa’s largest open-air market, and discover spices, handicrafts, coffee, and local life. You'll end the tour with an optional farewell dinner with cultural dance at a traditional restaurant.
