Day 1

You will be picked up from your Arusha hotel or from Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport and begin a three hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full day game drive inside the park, with a hot lunch served within the park. Later, you will proceed to Fanaka Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Tarangire is known for its large herds of up to 300 elephants searching the dry riverbeds for underground streams, while nomadic wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and eland gather around the shrinking water sources. It holds one of the highest concentrations of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem, making it a prime location for predators. Tarangire is also the best place in Tanzania to spot dry country antelopes such as the elegant fringe-eared oryx and the unique long-necked gerenuk. Additionally, it is the only national park that hosts migrating animals during the dry season and becomes a temporary home to multiple wildlife species.

Day 2
Serengeti Bound via Ngorongoro Highlands

This morning, you will enjoy a full breakfast, pack your luggage into the safari jeep, and begin your en-route game drive to Serengeti with your lunch packed. Along the way, you will have the chance to admire the stunning Rift Valley scenery and the breathtaking view of the Ngorongoro Crater. You will arrive in Serengeti at around 3:00 pm.
You will enjoy an evening game drive in Central Serengeti, where you will witness the beautiful sunset over the endless plains. After the game drive, you will proceed to dinner and your overnight stay at your lodge within the Serengeti.
The major attractions of the Serengeti include its vast open plains and the great Serengeti wildebeest migration, which involves more than 1.5 million herbivores followed closely by their predators. They move from one region to another across the Serengeti in search of water and fresh grazing during the dry season. Our driver guide will ensure you get the chance to witness part of this incredible migration.

After breakfast you will begin a full day game drive across the vast Serengeti plains. This day gives you the best chance to follow wildlife activity from morning until evening, including lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hippos and large herds of wildebeest and zebras. Your driver guide will choose the best routes depending on wildlife movement to maximize your viewing experience. You will enjoy your lunch at a scenic picnic site inside the park before continuing with your afternoon exploration. Later in the evening you will return to Seronera Campsite for dinner and your overnight stay inside Serengeti.

Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater Experience and Final Drive
Ngorongoro Crater Experience and Final Drive
After an early breakfast you will depart Serengeti and drive toward Ngorongoro, descending 600 meters into the crater for a full day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the best wildlife viewing areas in the world where you may spot the Big Five, including the rare black rhino. You will enjoy your lunch at the hippo pool picnic site before continuing with your afternoon game drive. Later you will ascend the crater and start your journey back to Arusha, where the safari will end with drop-off at your preferred location.
