Day 1
Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
After a short briefing in the morning, you set off to the Lake Manyara National Park. The small park stretches along the 600 m high Rift Valley Escarpment and is dominated by the alkaline Lake Manyara. It is here where thousands of flamingos seem to colour the shallow waters pink. Many water birds gather at the lake and more than 400 bird species are found in the park.
The diverse vegetation provides a habitat for many animals such as monkeys in the forest, giraffes and antelopes on the grasslands and elephants around the acacia trees. If you are very lucky you might also see the Manyara lions, lounging in the trees. In the late afternoon you will leave the Lake Manyara National Park and head to the campsite, where you will spend the night.

Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast at 6:30 AM, you’ll depart your lodge and drive toward the extraordinary crater highlands, home to the Iraqw people who grow wheat, corn, and coffee. Passing the Ngorongoro Crater, you’ll reach the Serengeti plains around midday.
The Serengeti, Tanzania’s largest park, features diverse landscapes including grass plains, savannah, bush, swamps, mountains, and lakes. Kopjes—unique rock formations—dot the plains and often attract predators. Depending on the season, you may witness the famous migration of thousands of wildebeest and zebras.
Game drive end at 5:00 PM, you’ll return to your lodge nestled within the Serengeti, where you can relax, enjoy a delicious dinner, and spend the night accompanied by the tranquil sounds of the wilderness.

After an early breakfast, we’ll set out around 6:30 AM for a full 6–7 hours of wildlife exploration in the heart of the legendary Serengeti. This iconic park teems with diverse animals—impalas, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos roam its landscapes—but it is most celebrated for the Great Migration: sweeping herds of 250,000 zebras, 1.5 million wildebeest, and 500,000 antelopes following the rains in a timeless rhythm. Alongside these vast moving herds, you may encounter formidable predators, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as they stalk the plains.
At the close of your game drive, you’ll return to your lodge nestled within the Serengeti, where you can relax, enjoy a delicious dinner, and spend the night accompanied by the tranquil sounds of the wilderness.

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After an early breakfast you will drive down the steep and narrow road that takes you into the crater. The slopes are forested but soon the landscape changes to savannah. Here the wildlife is just breath-taking and with a little luck you can observe the Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard – in just a few hours. You should also see warthogs, wildebeests, zebras, hippos and some of the more than 500 bird species of the area.
After a morning dedicated to game viewing and a picnic lunch, you will leave the crater in the early afternoon to drive back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, where your safari concludes. Depending on your next destination or flight schedule.
