Day 1

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

This is your first day on safari. Our guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel and drive along Nairobi Mombasa road passing through various towns along the way with some brief rest along. Proceed to your lodge and arrive at around lunchtime. Later, depart for an afternoon guided game drive. Lying at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya's most popular parks. The name "Amboseli" comes from a Maasai word meaning "salty dust". Visiting this park, you can be assured that you will see the biggest herds of elephants. Lions, buffalos and thousands of wildebeests beautify the park with a swampy lake. Drive to Observation Hill. You can also go on a hike to enjoy the panoramic view of Amboseli National Park and Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Full-Day Wildlife Moments at Amboseli

Today’s itinerary is flexible and can be adjusted in consultation with your guide to suit your preferences and pace.

You may choose to enjoy a relaxed breakfast before departing the lodge or camp at around 7:30am for a full-day game drive. You will carry a picnic lunch to enjoy in the park as you explore the vast landscapes and search for wildlife. In the late afternoon, you will return to the lodge or camp to relax, followed by dinner and your overnight stay.

Alternatively, you can opt for an early start with a 6:00am morning game drive, when wildlife is most active. You will then return to the lodge or camp for breakfast and some leisure time. Later in the afternoon at around 4:00pm, you will head out for another game drive, returning at approximately 6:30pm for dinner and your overnight stay. Your driver-guide will assist you in choosing the option that best suits your experience.

After breakfast, embark on an exciting journey to Tsavo West National Park, arriving just in time for lunch and check-in at the scenic Ngulia Safari Lodge. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the wonders of the park on a thrilling game drive, where encounters with majestic elephants and rare rhinos leave you in awe. Visit the legendary Mzima Springs, where hippos lounge in clear waters, crocodiles glide silently, and graceful kudus and tiny dik-diks move through the bush. As the sun sets, return to the lodge to unwind with dinner, reflecting on the incredible wildlife experiences of the day, before settling in for a peaceful overnight stay.

Enjoy your early buffet breakfast and check out before your game drive. Later, exit the park and proceed to Tsavo East National Park, the biggest national park in Kenya, also known as the man-eating savannah. Witness the red elephants bathing in muddy and swampy points. It's only here that you will witness the leopard at close range. Continue to your lodge for lunch and afternoon relaxation. Later, enjoy your afternoon game drive and return late in the evening for dinner and overnight.

The flight takes about an hour, offering a quick and comfortable transition from the calm coastal atmosphere to the vibrant energy of the capital.
