Nairobi- Amboseli National Park

Your journey begins early in the morning with a 5-hour drive from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park. As you travel southeast, you’ll pass through rural towns, open farmlands, and views of the volcanic plains leading toward Mount Kilimanjaro. You arrive at the park in time for mid-morning or lunchtime check-in at your lodge.

In the afternoon, you embark on a thrilling game drive across Amboseli’s vast savannahs. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, often seen up close against the backdrop of Kilimanjaro. You may also encounter lions, cheetahs, hyenas, buffalo, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, hippos, and a wide variety of bird species, including pelicans and crowned cranes.

The drive continues through swamps, open plains, and acacia woodlands as you enjoy uninterrupted views of wildlife and stunning landscapes. As the sun begins to set, you return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation, completing a perfect introduction to Amboseli’s beauty.

A short stop along the route allows you to stretch, enjoy refreshments, or shop for local crafts. As you continue toward the city, the landscapes gradually shift from wide, open spaces to the energetic atmosphere of Nairobi. You arrive in the afternoon, concluding your Amboseli adventure with lasting memories of its wildlife, scenery, and tranquility.
