1-Day Game Drive to Tarangire National Park

• You'll be collected from the airport.

You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha at around 7:00 am and depart for Tarangire National Park, enjoying a scenic drive of approximately 2–2.5 hours through the open countryside and Maasai plains. Upon arrival at the park gate, your driver-guide will complete entry formalities before you enter the park.

Begin your game drive in Tarangire, exploring its vast savannahs, baobab-dotted landscapes, and the Tarangire River, the main wildlife attraction of the park. You will have excellent chances to see large herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, lions, and a wide variety of birdlife.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the designated picnic sites inside the park, surrounded by nature and the sounds of the wild. Afternoon game drives will continue at a relaxed pace and can be tailored to your interests.

Leave Tarangire National Park in the late afternoon and drive back to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your preferred location in the early evening.
