Upon your arrival at Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our Acatree Tours & Safaris representative, who will be holding a sign with your name for easy recognition. After greetings and a short introduction, you will embark on as you drive toward the city, you will notice the beautiful landscapes, a mix of lush greenery, local farms, and distant views of Mount Meru, which stands proudly over the region. This friendly and vibrant environment creates the perfect first impression of Tanzania.

Upon arrival at Greenside Hotel, you will check in and settle into your room. The hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for relaxing after your arrival. You may choose to unwind in your room, enjoy the hotel surroundings, or take a short walk around the area to experience the local vibe.

Day 2

Your second day begins early in the morning as you prepare to leave Arusha for one of the most remarkable wildlife destinations on earth — Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the world-famous Great Migration. After a refreshing breakfast at Greenside Hotel, your professional Acatree Tours & Safaris guide will meet you at the reception, help you with your luggage, and brief you on the day’s journey.
Once inside the park, your adventure truly begins.

Your guide will drive slowly, giving you time to observe animals, take photos, and appreciate the rhythm of nature around you. Day 3

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the endless wonders of Serengeti National Park, one of the world’s greatest wildlife sanctuaries. After an early morning wake-up call and a delicious breakfast at Sound of Silence Camp, you will set out for a full day of adventure across the legendary plains.
The early hours are the most magical time in the Serengeti. As the sun begins to rise, painting the sky in shades of gold and soft pink, the park comes alive with movement. Predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs are still active from their nighttime hunts, offering an excellent chance to witness dramatic wildlife interactions.
You may encounter lions resting on the open plains, cheetahs scanning the horizon for prey, or leopards lounging gracefully in acacia trees. You will then return to Sound of Silence Camp, where the warm hospitality of the staff awaits you. Enjoy a refreshing shower, a delicious dinner, and a relaxing evening under the star-filled African sky.

Day 4

After an early breakfast at Sound of Silence Camp, you will depart the Serengeti and begin your journey toward the legendary Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Along the way, enjoy a final morning game drive as you exit the Serengeti, with chances to spot predators beginning their day, herbivores grazing peacefully, and birds soaring across the golden plains.

By late afternoon, you will ascend back up to the crater rim and continue toward Karatu. Upon arrival, you will check in at Cajanus Inn - Karatu, a charming and comfortable lodge surrounded by the lush, green hills of the highlands. The lodge offers a peaceful environment, warm hospitality, and beautiful views of the surrounding landscape — perfect for unwinding after an exciting day.

In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner prepared with fresh local ingredients, relax by the fireplace or in the garden area, and take time to refresh as you prepare for the next part of your safari journey.

Depending on your flight schedule, you may enjoy some time at leisure — taking a last walk around the lodge gardens, enjoying the cool Karatu highland breeze, or simply reflecting on the incredible wildlife experiences of the past days.

Your Acatree Tours & Safaris guide will meet you at the lodge, assist with your luggage, and ensure you have a smooth and comfortable transfer back to Arusha or Arusha Airport for your onward journey.
