Flight from Arusha to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, our driver will pick you up from Gran Meliá Arusha at 8:30 AM and transfer you to Arusha Airport, just 20 minutes away. You will board your flight departing at 10:00 AM and arrive in the Serengeti National Park by 10:30 AM.

Upon arrival, you will meet your guide and begin your game drive through the iconic Serengeti plains, home to abundant wildlife including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest. You will stop for lunch inside the park, enjoying the stunning scenery and the sounds of nature.

The game drive continues until late afternoon, after which you will be transferred to your luxury lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, relaxing in comfort amid the breathtaking Serengeti landscape.

The Serengeti Safari

Today, we recommend spending time relaxing at Meliá Serengeti Lodge, where you may spot animals such as elephants visiting nearby waterholes. You also have the option to enjoy a morning walking safari around the lodge grounds for a closer encounter with nature.

After lunch, depart for an afternoon game drive, when the sun is lower and wildlife, including lions, becomes more active. This is the perfect time to spot animals and capture stunning photos during the golden sunset.

Around 5:30 PM, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Final Game Drive in Serengeti Then Fly Back to Arusha

After an early breakfast at 7:00 AM, you will embark on your final morning game drive in the Serengeti National Park, taking advantage of the early hours when wildlife is most active.

For an unforgettable experience, you may also choose a hot-air balloon safari over the Serengeti plains (at an additional cost), offering a unique perspective on the wildlife and landscape.

At 11:00 AM, you will be transferred to Seronera Airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Arusha. The flight takes approximately 30 minutes, marking the end of your unforgettable safari experience.
