Day 1-2
Makgadikgadi Pans National park
Makgadikgadi Pans National park
A 2-night stay in the Makgadikgadi to witness the zebra migration roughly 35,000 zebras is best timed for the wet season, January to early April. Thousands of zebras migrate from the northern rivers to the lush grass of the Nxai and Makgadikgadi Pans, a phenomenon known as Africa's longest land mammal migration. We focus on the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, Nxai Pan National Park, or along the Boteti River. Focus on wildlife viewing, especially the massive concentrations of zebra and wildebeest in the Nxai Pan area. Full day game drives each day to have the best experience of the migration. We always retire after the sunsets, enjoying dinner under the African sky.
