4-Day Famaous Samburu - Ol Pejeta Adventure

Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve

You will be picked up from the hotel/airport in Nairobi by the driver-guide at 7:30 am. You'll begin your journey north towards Samburu National Reserve while enjoying the beautiful scenery on the way. After a brief stopover at the equator for a short refreshment break, you'll continue with the journey. You'll arrive at the lodge, check in, and then proceed to a hot lunch. You'll have a brief rest and then proceed for an afternoon game drive where you will have an opportunity to spot the Samburu Special Five, which are reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, and the gerenuk. You'll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Samburu National Reserve

You'll depart the lodge at 7:00 am for an early morning game drive. This is the time when most wild animals are active. You will have the opportunity to spot predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, and the famous Samburu Five. You'll return to the lodge for breakfast and have time to relax and enjoy the lodge amenities, such as the swimming pool. You'll depart for an evening game drive at 4:00 pm, where you'll once again have the opportunity to spot the reserve's wildlife. You'll return to the lodge for dinner and an evening stay.

Samburu - Ol Pejeta Conservancy

You'll enjoy an early breakfast, then check out of the lodge and begin your journey to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. You'll enjoy an en-route game drive as you exit the reserve. You'll arrive at Ol Pejeta Conservancy and proceed to Serena Sweet Waters Camp and check in. You'll proceed to a hot lunch as you relax and enjoy the camp's amenities. You'll depart for the afternoon game drive to explore the variety of wildlife in the conservancy, like the Big Five, birds, and also have a chance to visit the chimpanzee sanctuary in the conservancy. You'll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
